• ITAL 220 - Italian Roots and Branches or
• ITAL 222 - Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Italian Culture
• ITAL 301 - Senior Seminar (taken in the spring semester of senior year)

Electives

Eight additional units at 100-, 200-, or 300-levels, including at least one at the 300-level (in addition to ITAL 301).

For students who study in Italy with the ECCo program, one of the following courses (ITAL 217, ITAL 222, or ITAL 220) may be substituted with the core Italian language and culture course in Bologna (currently ITAL 244 – Italian for Academic Purposes and ITAL 251 Writing Workshop).
