ANTH 289 - Monsoon Worlds: Afro-Asian Embodiments, Memories, and Relations Semester Offered: Spring 1 unit(s) (Same as AFRS 289 and POLI 289 ) In this intensive, we examine encounters between African and Asian worlds that precede and exceed contemporary geopolitical, disciplinary, and Eurocentric frames of history and analysis. This co-taught interdisciplinary intensive includes guest lectures and workshops by Indian Ocean scholars, artists, and writers. Samson Opondo, Candice Lowe Swift.
