Graded independent research. A student wishing to take this course must first gain the support of a member of the Psychological Science faculty, who agrees to sponsor a student as they design and carry out an investigation focused on a specific psychological phenomenon. In addition to a final paper and regular meetings with the faculty sponsor, the faculty sponsor may require additional readings, writing, lectures, laboratories, group meetings, or other scholarly activities related to the focus of the student’s research.
